Summer, summer, summer

Woo-weee, another stretch of good weather means a noticeable lack of posting. Let's get ourselves all caught up.
Max has been honing his party tricks, here he tries out his 'look, I'm adorable face.' Bravo Max.
Jaci came to visit and we took a trip to the Museum.
Max checked in on his plane. Note the pilot's cap, he's official now.
I took a couple trips to Juneau to check in on the ol' building. Things are really turning out well, here's picture of the main library space, the ceiling is going to be really something.
Max has been quite interested in current events lately, he takes time in the morning to read the paper. It's really quite impressive.
We stopped by the Boots for a dinner party. Max and Elsa continue to get on swimmingly. Pardon the distortion in the image, phones, what are you going to do?
I got out for a nice stretch of running. Here my mates and I sit on a mountain somewhere in the midst of Penguin ridge. The ridge in home to a number of peaks that are named after Penguin sub-species (Gentoo, Emperor, Adelie, etc.). Great weather, great company, everything went great except the dehydration.
The following day we got out for a hike out of Glen Alps. Max got some quality outdoor time in. Here he gets a hug from mom... outside.
Here are a couple candid shots. Max enjoys the grocery store much more if he gets to drive his own cart.
Here Max sits in his play room (otherwise known as our entire house). Note the calm expression and confidence in his interior design sensibilities. The room looks great Max.
I went to Juneau again but this time it was sunny, hooray!
Max snuck out for coffee again.
This past weekend was Jes and I's anniversary so we took the occasion to head down to Girdwood. We all got out on a hike with Max quickly finding the throwing rocks.
...and the dirt bike course.
It's been a great 7 years with this lovely lady, here's to many more!
And finally, Max catching up on the news on a Sunday morning.
Good times, until next time, cheers!
