Memorial Day in Tutka Bay - Part I

Over Memorial Day, Jes and I went down to Homer with some friends to celebrate the holiday.
Looking out towards Tutka Bay from the Homer spit.
We made a stop at the Salty Dawg Saloon with Kevin and Michelle. We added our own dollar bill to the Saloon.
We had a bit of time on our hands, so we headed down to a beach and kicked it for a while.
PDA! PDA!
Soon enough the rest of crew arrived and we camped out in a friend's yard for the night.
The next day we drove down to the harbor and started unloading our stuff for the weekend. Between the kayaks, food, and drink, there was an incredible amount of stuff but it amazingly all fit and soon we were on our way.
Michelle, Kyle, Greta, and Scott on the taxi.
Kachemak Bay.
Our cabin, the Seastar, on Tutka Bay.
Everyone relaxing post un-packing and setting up camp.
Crazy mossy tree.
More to come in part II, cheers.
